ZOOTOPOSPHERE: the Resurrection of Freethinking
With the debut of ZOOTOPOSPHERE, I have created a web log for Freethinkers (FREETHINKING refers to an inclination to form one's own opinions rather than depend upon authority, especially about social, political and religious issues; a strong desire to exhibit boldness of speculation and be skeptical of authority; and a willingness to oppose and supplant the mythological narratives of the past and the dogmas of the present with a commitment to promoting science and the arts, freedom of inquiry tempered by the power of reason, and an unflinching embrace of secular-humanist values.)
This is more than just an artlog: ZOOTOPOSPHERE is a place where people who are skeptical of authority can openly express opinions and boldly speculate on topics as wide-ranging as the controversy between the mythology of Creation & the science of Evolution; the intrinsic immorality of advocates of Social Justice versus the noble spirit of the champions of Free Enterprise; and the face-off betwixt those who embrace the superstitious beliefs underlying the myth of ‘man-made’ global warming and the bonafide scientists whose only notion of superstition lies in its original meaning: standing still in awe of the wonder of the Universe into which they‘ve just awakened.
